Roni Hefetz is a Partner of WRVI Capital — a technology venture fund established in 2019 focussed on accelerating the monetization and scaling of disruptive companies globally.
He is also a Partner of WRV Capital — a venture capital firm focused on investing in core technology companies. Roni was also Founder and Managing General Partner of Walden Israel, an affiliate of the Walden Group of International Venture Capital Funds (1992 – 2009).
Prior to this, Roni was co-founder and Manager of CI Systems a provider of electro optical test equipment for defense and aerospace markets. He was also previously Senior VP International Business Development American Well, a worldwide leader in Telehealth market, and Chairman of Ex Libris, a world leader in library information systems.
Roni has over 25 years of investment experience in leading technology companies in Israel, the US and Asia with investments in cutting edge technology companies including SolarEdge (Nasdaq:SEDG), Passave (acq. by PMC), Mellanox (Nasdaq:MLNX), Allot (Nasdaq:ALLT), Terayon (Nasdaq:TERN), Ex Libris (acq. Francisco Partners), Ornet (acq. by Siemens), Sintec Media (acq. by Riverwood), Odin (acq. by Medtronic), Clear Forest (acq. by Reuters), Abirnet (acq. by Memco / CA) and Radcom (Nasdaq:RDCM).
He has pioneered the penetration of growth equity funds to Israel having led the first acquisition of a VC backed company by a tech PE fund (2006). Roni was also #1 on Forbes Midas List for Israel (2006).
Roni was previously a lecturer at Tel Aviv University’s MBA entrepreneurship program. He holds an MBA from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
